At A Jesus Church (AJC), we believe that God has called us to raise up the next generation of leaders within the church and make space for them to be supported, challenged, and encouraged by empowering them with ministry responsibility. If you think God has ministry leadership in your future and you are ready to challenge yourself to grow and make a difference, the pastoral residency at AJC is for you!

As a pastoral resident, you will be paired with a ministry leader on staff, being directly mentored and supported, as well as working with significant ministry responsibility in an area of need within the church (for example, youth ministry, kids, worship, production, hospitality, and Alpha). You will get lots of development opportunities with senior staff alongside growing through doing ministry. You will be a temporary member of AJC Staff and directly involved in ministering to the people of AJC. In addition to your primary ministry placement, you will also support other needs within the church, just like other members of staff. You will experience lots of aspects of ministry and get an insider's look at how ministry works. This isn’t an internship for boring admin or coffee runs, but a time to explore your giftings and have opportunities to practice and grow as a ministry leader!
